Advocacy is a free service to support people with a disability to:
- understand their rights and responsibilities
- make a complaint
- address discrimination and unfair treatment
- understand and make decisions
- build capacity to advocate for themselves
Advocacy services also offer free workshops and information sessions on a range of different topics.
Access Advocacy if you need help making decisions or resolving issues about accessing services you need such as education, employment, health, community services, legal issues, the NDIS, etc.
Advocacy helps promote and protect the rights, responsibilities and interests of an individual or group.
